I am an honored Best Hands of Missouri, Juried Member. I have lived in Mid-Missouri for 6 years, having moved here from Texas, born in San Francisco and raised in Iowa. I am a true mixture of the U.S. I have lived in seven different states and traveled throughout America and Internationally, studying the Arts. I have compiled years of study in drawing, painting and pottery into one venue, fiber art. I combine colors and shapes I have learned throughout my training, into my own original designs, both handwoven and nuno-felt. I am dedicated to durable, usable, whimsical, classic and still fun, textiles. I am a full time, professional fiber artist. I am a weaver of household, usable items and handwoven classic clothing. I love making romantic lace nuno-felt and handwoven bridal wraps, which I will dye for the bride a different color subsequent to the wedding. I find great solice and artistic satisfaction in creating lovely silk and wool, lacey and romantic wraps that are both figure flattering and practical. I love seeing them come alive when a lovely lady warps herself into the luxury of this silky textile. I am and always will be a weaver, but find time and fun to make lovely nuno-felt garments. It is my life wrapped and up and warpped up into fiber for fun and for function.
